Hon. Diamantino Pedro Azevedo is the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas of Angola since 2017.All his experience is dedicated to mining engineering and resources. Starting with his education. He holds a PhD in Mining Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin and Master’s Degree in Mining Engineering from the Freiberg Mining Academy – Federal Republic of Germany and also Degree in Mining Engineering from the Freiberg Mining Academy.Same with his professional experience. He was:- Chairman of the Board of Directors of FERRANGOL-EP- Director General of the Center for Mineral Resources of Southern and East Africa, regional body, based in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania- Chairman of the Board of Directors of AEMR, SA (Public-private partnership for the implementation of the Kassinga and Kassala Kitungo mining and steel project).- Chairman of the General and Supervisory Board of SOMEPA, Lda (Public-private partnership for the implementation of the Ouro do M’popo project)- Advisor placed in the Cabinet of the Minister of Geology and Mines.
